Inventory management & stock control software

Stock control from purchase order to shelf: deliveries matched to supplier bills, transfers between stores, batch and expiry tracking, unit conversions and a report that names dead and slow-moving stock. For Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa.

From the purchase order to the shelf to the sale. Receive deliveries in one go or several, match them to the supplier’s bill, move stock between stores on record, and see which items are running out, expiring or not moving at all.

Stock rarely disappears. It is lost at the hand-overs.

Purchase order match

You ordered twelve cartons and paid for twelve. Ten arrived. The difference is found at stock-take, if at all. Every purchase order is compared with what was received and what the supplier billed, line by line, with short and over deliveries flagged.

Units of measure

Drinks are bought by the carton and sold by the bottle. The stock sheet mixes the two and nobody trusts the balance. Buy in one unit and sell in another. The conversion is set once per item and the balance is always in the unit you count.

Batch and expiry

A case of cream at the back expired three weeks ago. Newer stock was issued first because it was nearer the door. Batches carry their expiry dates. The oldest is issued first, and items close to expiry are listed before they are wasted.

Inventory performance

Cash is tied up in items that have not moved since January, while the fast sellers keep running out. A performance report names each item out of stock, below reorder level, slow moving, dead or overstocked, with its turnover and days on hand.
